We have received several calls from across the country about a video circulating on
social media that mentions one of our doctors, Dr. Thomas Harper, by name in
connection with a product called Visium Max and the so-called “Astronaut
Protocol.” This video falsely claims Dr. Harper’s endorsement and uses artificial
intelligence to impersonate him. The video intends to deceive viewers and collect
personal data or money from individuals with visual concerns. It primarily targets
patients with Macular Degeneration or other eye diseases through misleading
social media advertisements.

improves and becomes more realistic.
If you have visual concerns, we encourage you to speak with your Ophthalmologist
or Retina Specialist about current treatments on the market. Unfortunately, there
is not a “magic cure” or miracle drug for Macular Degeneration.
